Rising Star at Arlington

Rising Star is a 4’-square quilt created cooperatively with about-to-be sixth graders
at Arlington Elementary School (Spokane, WA) in July 2002.
The project was sponsored by 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
This quilt uses the traditional Lone Star pattern, each diamond being cut
from a cereal, detergent, or other consumer-cardboard package.
